Hudson Chair Grand
Opening

The long awaited Gore Mountain/Ski Bowl
interconnect took place Saturday, Jan 29, when the Olympic Regional
Development Authority (ORDA) officially celebrated the ribbon cutting
opening of the Hudson Chair.
Included in the photo from left to right
are: ORDA President. Ted Blazer ,former Town of Johnsburg Supervisor, Bill
Thomas; Current Supervisor, Sterling T. Goodspeed; ORDA Board President, Joe
Martens; Senator Betty Little, and Gore Mt. Marketing Manager, Emily
Stanton.
They began skiing
at the Ski Bowl in 1934 and Gore Mt. was opened in 1964.
