Edinburgh Festival Fringe Edinburgh Scotland – August 6 – 28 This round-the-clock festival is worthy of a long visit to enjoy the world’s largest open arts festival, with 10,000 performers. And, TEN THOUSAND entertainers is a lot of entertainment. See, nude comedy, Bach, Brecht, and The Canterbury Tales as never before seen. The full program will be revealed on June 8, so mark your calendar to check it out on their web site. Anyone can take part in the Festival and many do. Last year the Fringe presented 1800 shows in almost 250 venues. They claim to have hosted over 1000 talent scouts, 1500 members of the media and received 3800 reviews. It’s the “largest arts market in the world” and they want you to come join them.
